This note is verified as of about 4:50 pm IST on 19 October 2026. The carousel was posted at 4:53 pm IST the same day. Hindustan Times, The Indian Express, NDTV and The Times of India reported that three people had been held after a firing at actor Tiger Shroff's car. The account the package treats as primary is a briefing the same day by Kota Superintendent of Police Tejaswani Gautam.
Reports place the firing on Sunday, 18 October, at about 7 pm, near Pushpa Park in Juhu, Mumbai. The firing was at the actor's car. Reports say the actor was not hit. This note does not add a street-level reconstruction beyond that place and that hour.
The clock times that follow are the ones in the caption and in the Kota SP's briefing, as those reports carry it. On Monday, 19 October, at 9:45 am, Mumbai Police alerted Kota police. At about 10:30 am, three suspects were held at Kota Junction. They were taken off the Pune–Jaipur Express. Held means they were detained. Held does not mean guilt. The investigation is continuing. The three are to be handed to Mumbai Police.
Two of the people held are named in the reports. Rehan is 18 and from Sonipat. Hritik Kurmi, also known as Roshan, is 22 and from Begusarai. The third person is a 17-year-old minor. This note does not name that minor, and it does not add any description beyond those words.
Police say the plan was to reach Delhi and then go to Nepal. Kota SP Tejaswani Gautam said alleged gangster Anil Pandit had been in touch with Rehan. Police link Pandit to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. That link is a police claim. It is under probe. It is alleged. It is not a finding that the firing was a confirmed Lawrence Bishnoi gang attack.
Police said a bike was found near Andheri station. The reports used here do not describe a registration number, or who the bike is said to belong to, so this note stops at the police line that a bike was found near the station.
Three things are not known on this record. Police have not stated a motive. Police say the weapons have not been recovered. Police have not fixed the roles: who fired, and who assisted. NDTV describes one of the accused as a helper. That is NDTV's description. Because the police account used here has not fixed the roles, this note does not assign them, and it does not adopt a label for who did what.
The poster is a file photograph of the Kota Junction station board, taken on 13 February 2011. It shows a station board. It is not a photograph of the firing, of the train, or of the people held. The credit is Superfast1111 / Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 3.0. The other slides are an NP graphic: the timeline, what police say, and what is not known. No photograph of any accused is used.
What the four reports agree on is the place and the holding. There was a firing at Tiger Shroff's car near Pushpa Park in Juhu on Sunday evening. Reports say he was not hit. Three people were held at Kota Junction on Monday morning from the Pune–Jaipur Express, among them a 17-year-old minor who is not named here. What remains a police claim, under probe, is the alleged link through Anil Pandit to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. What remains open is the motive, the recovery of any weapon, and the role of each person held.
